Fantastic to host Lauren a PhD student from The University of Manchester yesterday at Bowfell House.
A number of our team took part in the exciting The PLACE Study project looking at supporting care home residents to maintain a sense of purpose in life.
Lauren Martin PhD Student who conducted the project said of Bowfell House:
“Bowfell House is a fantastic care home. The home itself is lovely, and encompasses many diverse areas for the residents to take part in a massive range of activities. The staff are welcoming, organised and friendly, but most of all seem to really admire and care about the home, residents and team they work with. Coming to Bowfell House to conduct research was a delight.”
We look forward to hearing the outcomes of the research and being involved in the project further in the future.
