Our ice-cream cart has been a huge hit with residents, but our Activity Team noticed that some residents were choosing not to have an ice-cream because they didn’t have any money with them.
So, the team came up with a wonderfully fun idea — why not let our residents win their ice-cream instead?
Residents were challenged to throw a bean bag into a very large pair of fancy pink pants worn by a member of staff! It certainly created plenty of laughter, excitement and cheering as everyone had a go.
Our residents absolutely loved the idea, especially knowing they had earned their delicious ice-cream. It was a fantastic way to combine an enjoyable activity with the simple pleasure of choosing a tasty treat from the ice-cream cart.
A big well done to our Activity Team for coming up with such a creative and engaging idea and, most importantly, making sure everyone could join in the fun!
