On this International Women’s Day we wanted to recognise all the incredible women who live in, work at and visit Bowfell House.
The Knoll Care Partnership is a family-led business that has been involved in health and social care for over 35 years. Our aim has always been to provide exceptional levels of care and support, to create an environment we would be happy for our relatives to live in. Effectively extending our family to welcome yours, and for anyone that knows them Claire & Jayne two members of our Directorship epitomise this ethos. We are so proud everyday to be supported and directed in our organisation by two strong female leaders.
Today they both share some words to mark International Women’s Day 2024:
“The day serves as a platform to celebrate the very nature of womanhood whilst remembering the women leaders and activists who campaigned for gender equality and gender justice. This years campaign of #InspireInclusion focusses on creating a more inclusive world, challenging stereotypes and addressing discrimination and we’d like to think we play our part in that every day. The stories we share amongst residents and colleagues are teachable moments identifying the strength, grace and compassion in which women work. And today, as every day, we celebrate that.” Claire – Director
“The women who reside with us at Bowfell house have all been strong, resourceful, caring throughout their lives. We as a team at Bowfell house continue to encourage our strong women to remain as positive, active and to continue to live productive lives. Chatting to a group of our strong women this afternoon they all mentioned that they continue to feel valued within the environment in which they now reside. Strong women together.” Jayne – Director
