Christmas at Bowfell House went off to a great start with a fabulous Christmas Fayre at the beginning of December.

Staff and residents worked extremely hard to create homemade gifts to be sold on our craft stall and the residents loved being a part of it. Bowfell House has the fantastic opportunity to use the Trishaw purchased by Trafford City Council.

The residents really enjoy their weekly trips out to sight see around Urmston, so the team here came up with a wacky idea to purchase one of our own!

We decided to hold a Christmas Fayre in order to raise funds so that we could one day make this dream a reality. After the last few years, it really was a fantastic opportunity to get our residents, relatives and the community to mingle and spend time together.

Everyone was treated to some fantastic entertainment by Bob, we had a raffle, craft stalls, baking stall, games, photography stalls, wax melts and some phenomenal Jamaican Food. The whole day was a complete success and the residents, staff and relatives all had a wonderful day, the weather stayed dry and spirits stayed high.

Keep your eyes peeled for future events.
