We are pleased to share some positive news regarding the future of The Knoll Care Partnership and Bowfell House.
For more than 35 years, it has been our privilege to build and nurture a home grounded in strong family values, kindness, and a deep commitment to caring for every individual. Together with our incredible staff, residents, and families, we have created something truly special—something we are immensely proud of.
We are marking a meaningful moment in our journey. The organisation has been sold to the next generation of our family. This has been a carefully considered and planned step, taken to ensure continuity, stability, and a bright, confident future for our home.
As we take this step, we do so with complete trust in the new Board of Directors. We know they share the same values, compassion, and dedication that have always guided us. We also feel a deep sense of gratitude—for the opportunity to have led such a wonderful community of staff.
The loyalty of our long standing connections and support of the local community has meant more to us than most could realise. We hope you stay in touch and share the sentiment in wishing this new chapter well and look forward to seeing how it develops with your ongoing support and cheerleading! We have cared for so many people and families over the years, many of which remain close to our heart and in our memories. To everyone who has been part of it over the years, thank you.
We want to reassure all residents, families, staff, and our wider community that the things that matter most will not change. The same caring team will continue to provide the safe, compassionate, person-centred care you know and trust.
While this marks a transition in leadership, it is very much a continuation of the values and spirit that define our home.
A structured and lengthy transition period will also be in place, with existing leadership remaining closely involved to ensure continuity and reassurance for residents, families, and staff. We understand that change can sometimes raise questions. Please be assured that this transition has been planned with one clear priority: safeguarding the quality of care and the wellbeing of everyone connected to our home.
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to speak with Claire, Jayne, Matt, Andy, or a member of the team—we are always happy to help.
