Bowfell House celebrates Registered Manager Claire in her monumental win in the Great British Care Awards National Finals 2024.

We want to wish Claire a heartfelt congratulations on her remarkable achievement as the National winner of the Care Home Manager Award at the prestigious Great British Care Awards!

Never has there been a time when the commitment of the social care workforce has been more apparent, and we hope you will all join us in celebrating and enjoying the well-deserved recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of social care.

This award was awarded to the Care Home Registered Manager who demonstrated a high level of expertise together with exceptional skills in managing the complex business of running a care home. A Manager who showed vision in developing person centred care and supporting staff to meet the ever-changing needs of the residents.

Wowing the judges at the interview Claire is recognised as the best of the best in social care. As the winner of The Care Home Registered Manager Award the judges said about Claire:

With over 30 years’ experience of working in adult social care, Claire has worked in many roles and disciplines. For the last 25 years Claire has been Director of The Knoll Care Partnership and is also in post as Registered Manager of Bowfell House. As an independent and family led care provider operating in Trafford, Manchester, Bowfell House was delighted to be assessed as Outstanding in its first CQC inspection in 2021.

Claire: “My role is made easier by this outstanding team who are truly onboard with the values we intentionally set when starting on this journey. It was an amazing experience to be able to represent every member of the team and to be celebrated for what we have achieved. The face of social care has changed beyond recognition, and I am incredibly proud that the team here at Bowfell House are leading the way in extolling the virtues and strengths of social care.”
